Anna ballerina

About a month ago, our little angel started up ballet classes at the local YMCA and Anna ballerina doesn't disappoint.

I wouldn't call her technique "textbook" just yet, but she sure can rock a tutu and ballet shoes with the best of 'em.

Here's my best attempt at capturing her first class about a month ago. We were all excited because Meme and Papa were down for the occasion and we couldn't wait to watch Anna in action. Once we got there though, we learned it was Fort Knox and not the YMCA and we had to wait outside... which is why I had to shoot through glass.

Anyway, it was the thought that counted...

Ride with Leo

One of my new favorite things in the world to do is go for a car ride with just Leo.

He's able to get a word-in edgewise without Anna around and the results are just too cute...



PS: Don't look now, but this is the third new blog post in under two weeks. Is The Cardinal Blog returning to old form with regular updates??? Let's hope so. With work slowing down, you can expect more from the world of Anna and Leo this spring/summer... you're welcome!

Storytime

Go Leo Go

The temp got over 70 today and it was perfect weather for Leo to dominate the ladders and slide.

Completely fearless. Just went right up both ladders without any hesitation and then slid down the slide backwards on his belly with wreck-less abandon. I was a proud papa... and Anna was a proud sister as she cheered him on with her "Go Leo Go!" chant.

So glad for the winter championship season to be over, so we can play outside!
